Hey there! I’m Jonny Fields, a Georgia native with a lifelong love for music.

My musical roots go back to childhood, singing in church choirs, traveling with ensembles, and learning how powerful music can be as a form of connection. That’s also where I fell in love with guitar and began stepping into worship leadership roles at my home church and others in the community.

As I got older, my musical path took a few unexpected turns, in the best way. I formed a rock and heavy metal band with two close friends, dove into guttural vocals, and learned what it meant to create raw energy onstage. Those years stretched my creativity, but it wasn’t until I stumbled into the world of indie folk and blues thanks to friends and countless Tiny Desk concerts, that I really found where my voice felt most at home. A friend and I began performing around Atlanta, sharing our own songs and covers from artists like City and Colour.

Over time, life pulled me away from writing and performing, but the break didn’t last. With a lot of reflection and the gentle push of the people who love me, I realized how deeply music lives in me. Now I’m returning to it with more intention than ever, sharing the songs that weigh on my heart and mind.

At the end of the day, music is more than a hobby; it’s the way I connect, reflect, and offer something meaningful to the people who listen. Every instrument I’ve learned, every community I’ve belonged to, every moment that’s shaped me finds its way into the sound. Folks often tell me that even before the lyrics land, they can feel the emotion in my voice. That feeling, that instant, wordless connection, is why I keep creating and why I’m excited for what’s ahead.
